Your setup, step by step.

  1. 01

    Prepare your Windows PC

    FlightCockpit uses a Windows 10 or 11 PC running Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and the desktop bridge.

  2. 02

    Connect your Android device

    Use an Android phone or tablet on the same local network. Avoid guest networks that isolate devices from each other.

  3. 03

    Pair with the desktop bridge

    Open the bridge and scan its pairing QR code in the Android app. Simulator telemetry travels over your local network.

  4. 04

    Arrange your instruments

    Choose and resize the widgets available in your installed build. The development catalog contains 28 Free displays; downloadable builds may contain an earlier set.

  5. 05

    Use original displays where supported

    In the development preview, open a supported simulator instrument as a separate window and select it in the bridge for PFD, ND, ECAM or E/WD streaming.

Need a hand?

Why can my tablet not connect?

Check that both devices can reach each other on the same local network. Guest-network isolation, a VPN or firewall rules can prevent pairing.

Why is an instrument unavailable?

Availability depends on the aircraft and app build. Missing telemetry is shown as unavailable. Original displays require a supported simulator pop-out window selected in the bridge.

What if the readings stop updating?

Check the simulator pause state, the desktop connection and your local network. Reconnect the app if the connection does not recover.
